This Discovery Channel ad from several years back. Anime and Manga The student film from Haruhi Suzumiya. Most of the participants genuinely can’t act, but one of them just talks like this normally. In Koizumi’s case it isn’t the way he speaks that makes him a bad actor, it’s the way he exaggeratedly gesticulates his way through every line he gets. Surprisingly, during the school festival when he’s cast as one of the leads in Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead , his style of acting is oddly appropriate. When StarMyu is trying to show Hoshitani’s bad acting, as in s1e2, or when he’s practicing with Uozumi in s2e3, they tend to go for the “large ham” version of this trope. However, if you look closely, it’s averted in quite a few places. Notice, for example, in s2e7, the difference between his rehearsing Alexis’ Shadow’s song and Lambert’s song. In the former, he gives of completely the wrong emotion for the scene, whereas in the latter, he plays it right – motivated by his feelings for Otori.
Buy Call of duty: His trademark ability creates a decoy and turns him invisible for a certain time. Talked to Gearbox, they are aware and working on a fix. He can summon a deadly turret and has a variety of buffs to his offensive and defensive abilities. The sequel builds upon the stylized look and subtly makes some changes in order to deliver an even more pleasing adventure, especially on the PC where, if you have the system to run it, you’re in for a stunning experience.

Buy Borderlands 2 is a big game. And yet the sprawling cooperative shooter has arrived intact on the portable platform, delivering long hours of shooting, looting, and butt jokes. Game design changes, like knocking the maximum player count down from four to two and changing the enemy death animations, do a good job of cutting corners while preserving the core action. Technical shortcomings, however, leave little doubt that this is the lesser version of Gearbox’s great sequel.
Dialogue and sound effects frequently sound flat and occasionally disappear, while the frame rate often slows down in combat and makes the chaotic action feel unwieldy. Despite these limitations, Borderlands 2 on the Vita is still, very clearly, Borderlands 2. The world is colorful and diverse; the writing is witty and sometimes affecting; the loot is bountiful and rewarding; and the combat is entertaining and rowdy.
Teaming up with another player and working your way through myriad quests on the path to increased skills, richer rewards, and Pandoran glory is great fun. It’s just as easy to happily while away dozens of hours in this portable version as it is in its console and PC counterparts. This review will focus primarily on the Vita-specific strengths and limitations of Borderlands 2.

Gameplay[ edit ] Gameplay from within a foot Titan, with full heads-up display Titanfall is a shooter game played from a first-person perspective. Players fight as free-running foot soldier “pilots” who can command agile, mech -style exoskeletons—”Titans”—to complete team-based objectives. Killing other players reduces the amount of time remaining. The latter locks onto multiple targets before firing multiple shots in a burst.
“Borderlands 2 is a game made by gamers for gamers,” said Christoph Hartmann, president of 2K. “The unique visual art style, all-new characters, loads of loot, 87 bazillion guns, and role-playing-shooting combine for a truly addictive experience, especially when played with three other friends.
Can’t find your answer? Get the answer Jan 3, , 2: Far Cry 3 is a game where its meant to be single-player, Borderlands is a co-op game with the option of playing alone. I bought the original Borderlands and got bored of it very quickly playing alone still in the fyrestone general area , but I have pulled all-nighters on both B1 and 2 when I have had friends to play co-op with.
The character classes is also a dimension that FC3 lacks. I enjoyed FC3 and thought it was a beautiful game but I haven’t had the desire to replay it. Can I play with unknown people instead of friends?

Adam James Shasdam You only get one first impression—a fact not lost on the video game industry, where there’s always something else for gamers to play. These days, new games risk losing their player-bases almost as soon as they get them. Sometimes, a botched launch is to blame. Occasionally, the stars simply don’t align, and a competitor just makes a game that is better than yours.
And then, there’s the simple fact that gamers can just get bored and move on. Whatever the reason, staying power is hard to come by—as these games found out the hard way. Tom Clancy’s The Division Ubisoft’s much anticipated online-only open-world third-person shooter The Division launched to critical acclaim in March By June—only three months later—the game had lost 93 percent of its player-base. According to player-base-tracking website GitHyp, The Division fell from a peak 2.
Taught by the developer as Ubisoft’s fastest selling game of all time, the much-hyped online shooter was by no means a bad game. However, The Division had its fair share of issues, ultimately crippling Ubisoft’s hope that the title would become their flagship franchise. Endgame problems—on top of matchmaking issues and stat bugs —put-off those who wanted to stick around, with cheating and hacking plaguing the Dark Zone, particularly within the PC community.
Additional content and DLC did little to draw players back, proving just how easy it is to lose your player-base. These days, The Division is all but dead, with less than three percent of the game’s launch-window peak still playing.

More Borderlands than you can handle Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel launched on previous-gen platforms in October of , the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 had already been available for nearly a year. Many Borderlands fans like me who would otherwise be the prime target of The Pre-Sequel had already moved on to new consoles.
This year, we got our wish!

Despite everything it had going against it, word of mouth and some addictive game design kept Borderlands afloat, and it became the sleeper hit of Three years later, the sequel comes with high expectations and hopes for more foliage and less desert.
Sep 17, · MOD HIJACK! Please keep all discussion for Borderlands 2 in this thread. Thanks! -sj I don’t get it, someone explain to me why this game (which to me doesn’t look that great) is getting such praise. I never played the original so that could be my problem but still, everyone I talk to is excited about it, every EB store has posters everywhere about it and every site is advertising it.
In the case of Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, maybe not. For the rest of us, who simply love the Borderlands mix of FPS mayhem, sweet loot, Diablo-style upgrading and humorous dialogue, The Pre-Sequel is an opportunity to get a little more of it, albeit with a handful of twists. More than a few Xbox and PS3 owners will probably be grateful for that fact.
Graphically speaking, it seems identical to Borderlands 2, and the gameplay is no great departure either. When the enemies die, you gain experience and the chance to hoover up their loot. Experience means you level up, gain skill points, and can spend them on a branching set of class-specific perks and skills. You also earn badass ranks from a range of challenges, winning tokens to be redeemed against a drip-feed of skill bonuses, enhancing weapon damage, shields, reload times, melee attacks and more.
The Pre-Sequel also makes the most of its moon settings, throwing in a new crucial resource — O2 — and a mass of low-gravity high-jinx. Sorry Call of Duty:

Best Stealth Games Best Strategy Games Let’s get one important fact out of the way before we dive into the deep end of the pool: This is not a historical examination of the most groundbreaking PC games. Sure, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain redefines stealth-based action and Forza Horizon 3 is the definitive open-world racer, but they didn’t make it into this guide based purely on those metrics. Simply put, this an ever-expanding collection of all-around excellent titles you should buy if you own a gaming desktop or laptop.
To clarify, games don’t need to have been released in or even to qualify for this roundup. Any game that’s still available and still considered excellent when ranked against the best of today is eligible. We think that’s the most useful approach to helping you decide which video games deserve space on your PC’s hard drive, and which aren’t worth consideration even when their prices are cut by 85 percent during a Steam sale.
